Gay marriage in Massachusetts

Sometimes a good predictor of what will happen, is what has happened.

Gay marriage has been legalized in Massachusetts. So how has that worked out? The following is a summary of one Massachusetts man's description of life in Massachusetts since the legalization of same-sex marriage:

The high school which the writer's children attended had a school-wide assembly to celebrate same-sex marriage. A few months later the celebration was brought down to the middle schools and the following year same sex marriage became part of the elementary school curriculum. Regular "gay days" are now considered necessary to fight "intollerance."

When a couple complained about their second grader having to read a book about romance and marriage between two men (including a picture of two men kissing), the school told them it was under no obligation to allow them to let their child opt out (that's tolerance, gay style).

The family then filed a civil rights lawsuit. The ruling was that since gay marrige was legal in Massachusetts, the school had a duty to promote same sex marriage to children and had no obligation to let children opt out!

In one elementary school, a man undergoing a sex change operation was brought into a third grade class. When the parents of one of the children complained, the parents were told that their complaints were "inappropriate behavior."

Since same-sex marriage has become legal, HIV /AIDS has gone up significantly and public funding to deal with this has risen by a half-million dollars! Domestic violence among gays has also gone up and so has the public funding to deal with it.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health helped to produce a book which included tips on oral sex, masterbating other males and "safely" urinating on someone for sexual pleasure! The book was given to high school students.

In addition to the annual gay pride parades, there is now a "Dyke March" in Boston and a "transgender" parade in Northampton. The latter included bare-chested women whose breasts had been surgiclally removed.

In the 2008 Boston gay pride parade the Massachusetts governor marched with his lesbian daughter, followng a group "brandishing a black & blue flag, whips and chains!"

There is actually much more. For the whole story please read, "What same sex marriage has done to Massachusetts; It's far worse than most people realize."

Make no mistake about it. The same sex marriage debate is not really about whether two people should be able to marry. It is about public policy. Once same-sex marriage is legalized and becomes accepted national public policy, what is happening in Massachusetts will happen everywhere.

And Barack Obama has sworn to make it happen. But for reasons absolutely passing comprehension, there are actually Christians who plan to vote for Barack Obama even though the Bible's condemnation of homosexual behavior in both Testaments is very clear.

God help us!
